Carnivore is simple: Meat. Eggs. Butter. Dairy. Salt. Water.
Nothing that didn't come from an animal + salt and water. No processed food, no seed oils, no plants, no sugar, no medications. It sounds radical until you realize how much of what we call "normal" eating is quietly wrecking us.
Start simple. Eat anything on the list. Cook in butter. Eat until full. Stop.
Eat enough fat. It's your fuel now. Don't fear it.
Drink your water. One gallon minimum. Add salt and electrolytes daily.
Commit to 90 days. Donβt cheat yourself and tap out at week two. Commit. Give yourself the gift of transformation physically, mentally and energetically.
Just meat, salt, eggs, butter, dairy, water and a body that proves what's possible.

In 2022, I was 350 pounds. I worked out, ate high protein, did everything the fitness coaches tell you to do. Lost 50 pounds, then plateaued for years. That kind of stuck is its own defeat.
In September 2025 I went strict carnivore. No cheat days. No compromises. Just meat, eggs, butter, dairy, salt, and water.
Eight months later I'm sitting at 225 pounds.
So if you're stuck β try it. What do you have to lose?
The GLP-1 shots and calorie counting will be right there waiting if you want to go back.
But what if you don't need to?

Breakfast: 6 eggs, bacon, handful of cheese cooked in butter (sometimes it is cheddar or fresh grated parmesan)
Lunch: Chicken cooked in butter and spices, bacon
Dinner: Roast cooked all day in butter, bacon and spices (this is now my wifeβs favorite dinner)
Snacks: Cottage Cheese, Beef Jerky, Bacon or Cheese Slices
(if needed)
*Normally I eat 1 slice of bacon at each meal, however I do not really count how much bacon I eat. At the beginning I ate a lot more bacon and now I really only eat a couple slices a day.

1 - 2 gallons of water
Every morning I fill up my 1 gallon jug as that's my daily target, minimum. Throughout the day I pour from the 1 gallon jug into my smaller water bottle so I can grab and go. By end of day that 1 gallon jug has to be empty. Most days I fill the 1 gallon jug a second time.
Simple System.
I also add a few special items to my water and the benefits have been noticeable. Sign up for tips to learn what.
My 1 gallon water jug and water bottle that I got on Amazon are shown here.
Monday through Friday I strength train by working out on the Tonal. My workouts are powered purely by protein and fat. No pre-workout, no carb loading.
This image is the progression of my strength score on the Tonal over the last 6 months while I was strictly Carnivore. The Strength Score on a Tonal isnβt a random number. Itβs based on sophisticated algorithm that uses Tonalβs digital weight technology to accurately measure your overall strength.
No Tonal, no problemβ¦just start lifting weights at a gym or at your house.
I also became addicted to playing pickleball at Lifetime Fitness, so my days are filled being on the court. Lifetime is like my second home and I love it there!

I went through it all...well-meaning friends and family who sent me articles condemning Carnivore while warning me my cholesterol would spike.
Doctors who raised an eyebrow.
Here's what the labs actually say.
My BMI is still high, but this is a journey, not a highlight reel. I have about 20 more pounds to lose.
The 30,000 foot view is this:
I started at 350 pounds.
I am writing this at 225.
And my perfect bloodwork speaks for itself.

It took me about 2 weeks to adapt and curb cravings. Then after the 2 week mark, it was like a high speed train. I started food prepping on Sundays, got my grill and smoker in action and in 90 days the results will shock you!
No, if you are strict carnivore, then you are not eating fruit or vegetables. This sounds crazy with everything you are told and it works. We are unfortunately told a bunch of BS to keep us sick.
Yes, you can have coffee. If you do have coffee, then no sugar and just stick to heavy cream or coconut oil.
For the first 3 months, I lost about 5 pounds a week and then after that it tapered down to 2-3 pounds a week. Now I am at about 1 pound a week weight loss as I am getting close to maintenance and am focusing on building muscle.

Absolutely and eating out is actually easy. At a fancy restaurant, order the fillet with butter on the side. At a fast food restaurant then grab a cheeseburger no bun or steak fajitas meat and cheese only! If your friends order a bunch of appetizers, you are going to order an all meat and cheese item so you can enjoy.
You already know something has to change. Schug's 90 Day Savage program gives you a coach who has been exactly where you are, a proven system, and 90 days to become someone you don't recognize.
No fluff. No excuses. Just results.
